Damianos Christos

Christos Damianos is a multidimensional contemporary artist, born in Greece and based in Toronto, whose work includes painting, sculpture and installations. His art explores wonders of identity, nature and the flow of time, with multi-layered materials that bear the materiality and historicity of geological layers. Highlighting the time-consuming process of collecting and shaping each layer, his works invite the audience to contemplate time as a resource to be invested - similar to the natural cycles of creation, transformation and decay.
